Why Therapy?

Healthy human relationships is one of the highest forms of love we can achieve. With your partner, best friend or parent next to you, anything is possible. It is an innate need to connect with other human beings in a healthy and accepting way in order to grow and flourish. However, life is not so perfect as it is filled with adversity, uncertainty and aloneness. How could you ever be expected to find your way in this scary world alone? I will help you navigate to find whatever it may be that you are seeking. Trust me, it will be a journey of a lifetime filled with fear, pain, joy and love. You won’t regret it!

Does it feel like things never go your way? Have you found yourself back in a familiar negative cycle? Do you find yourself being your own hardest critic that can send you into a spiral? Or maybe you find yourself struggling in your relationship and yearning for a deeper connection but don't know where to start because more often than not, it turns out to be an argument, leaving you tired and more disconnected from your partner. You are in the right place.

Therapy is about being compassionate towards yourself, being clear on your wants and needs and removing barriers standing in your way. When was the last time you felt completely seen and understood for just being you? My therapy sessions is designed for you to be your authentic self. This is a place to celebrate you and sow the seeds of growth. Are you ready to stop the suffering?

My Approach

My work with clients is humanistic and collaborative which means connecting with you on a human level and sharing feedback and suggestions. You are the driver of your own treatment. Some sessions can be quite intense with big emotions and other times much lighter. What you can expect from me include problem-solving, empathy, asking evocative questions, reflecting, validation and deepening emotions.

All I need from you is your commitment to the therapeutic process and willingness to work. Work meaning your willingness to process negative situations and feelings and be open to doing things differently. “For things to change, you have to change.” You can do this! Remember, you are not alone.

I utilize a combination of emotionally-focused individual therapy (EFIT), attachment theory, relational therapy, strength-based, humanistic approach and solution-focused therapy for individuals. For couples, I utilize and have training in emotionally-focused therapy. In addition, I am trained in sex therapy.

Tele-Therapy

Currently, I only provide virtual sessions via Zoom. The only requirement is that you are a resident of California or Nevada .
